Reporters learned recently that the average operating rate of construction machinery nationwide in the first two months of this year stood at 37.38%, a rise of 2.91 percentage points compared with the same period in 2024.

Data shows that domestic engineering project construction has shown a recovering and positive trend in the first two months of this year. Among them, the operating rate of excavation equipment hit 42.61%, an increase of 3.79 percentage points over the same period in 2024, registering the highest growth rate among all major categories of equipment.

From a regional perspective, the operating rate in the Central China reached 44.32% in the first two months of this year, significantly higher than that in the same period in 2024, with the largest growth margin among all regions.

Enterprises have gradually resumed production and business operations after the Spring Festival, with production and business activities accelerating. Seasonal factors and policy incentives have driven economic recovery.
